Each individual student is a child of God and will be treated with care and concern for their best interests. It is important to understand that I will deal with students on an individual basis when conflicts arise. It is my intent to be fair to each student. Although I try to be fair, FAIR is not always EQUAL. An effort will be made to resolve all conflicts and come to an understanding about expectations to be in good standing in class. Students will be told that their behavior has been recognized as not appropriate. I will speak to students individually to resolve conflicts that may occur. When necessary I will contact parents regarding the situation. The following guidelines will be used to manage conflicts as they arise. In all situations, it is appropriate to apologize and grant forgiveness.1. Behavior will be documented and students will be asked to meet with the teacher.
Behavior slips will be issued. Consequences may be assigned.
